How We Work
Schedule of Fees
The travel industry is a very funny business and I have honestly debated and stressed about this very topic for some time now. On the one hand, I want you to receive the very best value possible. On the other, the business needs to be sustainable so I can continue to be here for you and provide you with the fun, exciting, adventures-packed vacations you are looking for.
The problem is that the better we do our job of finding you the lowest fares, the least expensive hotel and car rental rates, and the most vacation travel for your dollars, the harder we must work and the less money we make. Travel advisors are paid a commission from the various suppliers, we work with, with the sole exception of airfare. When plans are made and tickets are written, but then the trip is canceled and refunded, we either do not receive our commission, or we have to give our entire commission back to the hotels, tour operators, car rentals, or cruise line. We do a lot of work of getting you the very best value possible and end up making nothing for our efforts. Common sense suggests that a serious business cannot operate losing money on every transaction and all too often these days, the commissions we earn do not cover the cost of the services we provide. Rather than compromise the quality of our service we have decided to offset expenses with service fees. In this way, we can continue to pledge that when you book with us, you will receive the excellent service you deserve.
Planning a trip can be time-consuming and confusing with all the available options. We are dedicated, hard-working professionals who not only arrange the various components of your vacation to the most minute detail, but we also provide a host of other valuable services that save you time, money, and stress.
With that being said, below are a few of the fees we charge when using our services.
*In addition to any fee imposed by the supplier or airline
