My business morphed from a parenting/lifestyle blog where parents would look to me for advice on how to travel with their children. Naturally, the blog grew into a business with the experience I gained in my own travels.
I have always had a deep love of traveling and getting to explore different cultures and experiences. With this in mind, once I had children, I felt it was important to teach them their place in this vast world and to teach them about all the different people and cultures there are. Travel is a big part of our family, and it varies from trips to Walt Disney World, to cruises, camping trips, all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and will eventually include trips to UK/Europe and beyond.
Both of my children’s travels started when they were young. It would start with quick trips to nearby cities and morphed into 7 day cruises by the time they were both 18 months old. They have been exposed to different Caribbean cultures and different natural environments. They’ve spent time lounging on beaches, hiking the Great Smoky Mountains in search of waterfalls, and watching a bear family in its natural habitat. Likewise, they’ve played in snow and in sand alike. They have experienced more in their young ages than I had as an adult, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
